Holy City is a small town in the Santa Cruz Mountains between Los Gatos and Santa Cruz, California. Its heyday was in the thirties just prior to the Second World War. Father William Riker, purveyor, guaranteed a pathway to heaven for those donating their property and lifetimes to perpetuating his little town, a town of secrets and political intrigue.
This historical-fictional account of one man’s entry into the Holy City society reveals a pivotal moment which, if realized, could have changed the history of California, indeed the whole nation.
